Lucho Kicks His Way to the Top!

Benj Lucien C. Madolin, a student from Grade 2 – Perseverance and a white belter, represented his martial arts club and APDM in the Philippine Guska Federation (PGF) SIPARNIS Tournament in San Roque National High School in Antipolo, Rizal and won Gold in Taekwondo and Silver in Arnis on September 22, 2018. He was awarded his yellow belt on October 13, 2018. He joined the First Philippine IT Pattern Competition on December 9, 2018 and won Gold in the Individual Category and Silver in Group Category. Lucho is now holding a yellow stripe belt, which was awarded to him on February 2, 2019. During the last week of March, his Taekwondo class awarded him a medal recognizing his Indomitable Spirit and Perseverance. Truly, he showed perseverance in all the achievements he has received. A Model in the Making

Charles Nick Martin Flores of Grade Five Commitment joined the JAMS Top Model 2018 which culminated on November 19, 2018 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. His biggest dream in life is to become a renowned international and local model and to be a successful entrepreneur. Charles was included in the JAMS Top Model 2018 finalists surpassing over 300 other promising models. APDM is honored to have a student like Charles who showcases his talents not only inside the classroom but also in representing the Academia Progresiva de Manila in his extra-curricular activities. Congratulations Charles! We are so proud of you!

With all of these traits, Ellene would surely reach her dreams and as her star continues to shine, her family and her APDM family would always be supporting her.

PLDT Fame 2018 : A Progressive Shines

Each one of us has our dreams and aspirations in life, kids specially. As parents and teachers, we encourage our children to dream big, we nurture their God-given talents and we help them develop holistically to be able to achieve their dreams. For Ellene Jan Quimson Santiago of 3-Creativity, one of her dreams is to become a singer. On October 29,2018, PLDT held its singing contest entitled “PLDT Fame 2018” at Glorietta 4. Ellene, who is a proud Progressive and a promising member of the Performing Arts Club, was one of the 18 finalists. With her heartfelt rendition of “Part of Your World” from the Little Mermaid, she wowed the judges as well as the audience and bagged 3rd place in the said event. Ellene is not just a brilliant singer, she is also an excellent student who is a consistent Academic Achiever. With all of these traits, Ellene would surely reach her dreams and as her star continues to shine, her family and her APDM family would always be supporting her.
