Coming from a progressive pre-school, we are very happy that we found Academia Progresiva de Manila. A school where my son Chase would have fun and at the same time, learn a lot. Adjustment from pre-school to grade school did not cause him a problem because APDM is using progressive with a little traditional approach which personally think will be a big help to the children’s development. It is important to us as parents to see our child to progress and develop not only academically (IQ) but also socially and spiritually (EQ). We also appreciate the activities that involve the parents, which help children feel so loved and important. Kudos to APDM staff and teachers!

Finding a school for Miggy was such a difficult task for us. We wanted a school that will hone his extraordinary interests, imagination and known needs. A school that will serve as a haven of i I learning with fun-filled experiences. Aiming him to participate and targeting known strengths and ! weaknesses. A school that will allow my son to develop in a holistic manner, both with content and i character. Academia Progresiva de Manila first opened in June of 2014. Miggy was one of the pioneer students under the Inclusion and Mainstreaming Program. Tears flowed from my eyes when i first i I saw him dance, finishing until the last rhythm of the song on stage. He has never danced that long I on stage before; he is very selective to sound. Then, I started to look forward to their nextpresentation. Both the school and my son did not fail to amaze me. And now, he can even dance with a partner. I must say, his coordination and tempo has improved! Those instances also made my son more enthusiastic and engaged. His interest towards school and willingness to participate has emerged. Similarly, I was so touched knowing that his classmates whom he considers as his friends are very mindful of him. During the preparation for their Christmas Party, he remembered to mention names of classmates and friends whom he would give presents. Thank you so much for your care and concern to him. Your regards to him will never be erased in his mind and heart.Challenges may still arise both in school and at home, but I believe i that through the help of his passionate teachers, interns and accepting ! peers, he will be able to succeed in this changing society. Indeed, we have found a BETTER place for learning and advancement. The school may not be perfect (no other school is); however, APDM has provided essential tools for my son to apply known skills and for us to accept known needs. Academia has embraced him as who he is and what he can do, capable of doing something, able to take one step at a time and has needs to be addressed with a compassionate heart and a skillful mind! God bless to our TEAM: T. Archie, T. Nina, T. Reg, T. Brienne and to US, his family! .

We chose Academia Progresiva De Manila not only because of convenience, but essentially because of its philosophy. As one of the pioneer families, we gave our full trust to the school and its principles in ensuring holistic approach in educating our son. The course may have not been easy, it was even more constraining on the part of the teachers, but I have witnessed that the events did not hamper their dedication, rather, bolstered their motivation in progressive education. Watching our son grow in wisdom and of good character, I sincerely give my appreciation to the wonderful faculty members who have patiently cultivated and guided my son in building his foundation. We are also grateful for the keen and dynamic leadership exhibited by the school administrator, and the resilience and support given by the head of the school. As a parting message, a quote made by a great philosopher, “We are what we repeatedly do,” and we are a growing community with excellence not just an act but a habit, that we will continually do. We came to know Academia Progresiva De Manila (APDM) through their promotional tarpaulin ad posted near our street. We decided to enroll our son Zirjan because of the school’s tagline “APDM: Preparing your child for life.” APDM promotes being responsible individuals through the help of school teachers and the | administrative staff. During the school orientation, I was encouraged and challenged with the APDM’s teaching principle, “learning while having fun.” This was really fit and ideal for my child. It’s been nine (9) months now since my child started; I’m glad and surprised with what my son has learned so far. I’m a hands-on mom and I have noticed the positive changes with him, his attitude and actions, the way he speaks, his new knowledge, how he enjoys every school activity. As a mom, I appreciate how the programs and activities offered by APDM are valuable and functional. I can say that our experience with this institution is fulfilling, which makes me confident to recommended it to others. I’m looking forward for more learning techniques from APDM that would be beneficial to our children and help nurture and prepare them to be responsible future leaders. Thank

Nurturing a child’s self-esteem or feeling of self-worth lays the foundation for every child’s future as she sets out to try new things on her own. As parents, it is our goal to ensure that our child develops confidence to handle life’s challenges. This seems to be a heavy responsibility on our part but thanks to APDM, we found a partner who can help us achieve this goal. Our child’s self-esteem has flourished in APDM. Despite her temperaments and difficulties during her preparatory year, all the people in APDM, from the teachers, aides, guards, and admin staff, love and accept her as she is. This is a school with a big heart for everyone especially for the students. She is now in Grade 1 and can easily talk with her classmates, even develops friendships with them. She can now lead the prayer from her heart without hesitation. She participates in the games during their P.E. and is always excited to participate in presentations during school activities. She has literally bloomed from being shy into a more friendly and confident girl. We are happy with the way APDM approaches education-personal and practical. APDM does not only teach their students how to excel in academics, they encourage them to be creative and help develop life skills such as responsibility and resiliency. Florence still has a long way to go. We know she is unique and talented just like her other classmates. We appreciate the thrusts that the school wants to inculcate to their students. Most of all, we are grateful for helping us bring out the best in her. As the School Year 2015 – 2016 ends, I would like to say congratulations and kudos to APDM for a job well done!
