"Where there is great love, there are always miracles." A once in a lifetime event for the students, parents and teachers of Grade 5 Commitment, and an event formed by great love and passion towards achieving a goal, this year’s talent night created a memory that everyone will surely remember and treasure forever. On April 5, 2019, for the first time ever, APDM has produced a musical play entitled Metanoia: A Change of Heart. The musical play taught everyone a lesson about life. It taught everyone that people who seek love the most, ask for it in the most unloving ways. The students of Grade 5 Commitment were assigned different roles which they rehearsed for extensively. The school gymnasium was converted into a comfortable theatre conducive for our students’ musical play. All the students performed well bringing so much pride to their parents and teachers. Indeed, all their hardwork and efforts paid off! A standing ovation culminated the play during the curtain call. Congratulations and well done to our Grade 5 students! You were all truly amazing!
APDM geared up for its 2nd Investigatory Research and Science Fair. There were six teams presented by the Grade 4 Compassion, and Grade 4 Resilience students. These teams were Magmanificent, Hydrozap, Magnetractive, Eleccitrusy, Electromagneticia, and Nutergy. The fair was held on April 3, 2019 at the school gymnasium. APDM is honored to have Ms. Roxane Villanueva, Science DepEd Coordinator of Mandaluyong City, as the head judge. Completing the panel of judges is our dearest School Principal, Ms. Nina Carmela V. Almeda. Their expertise and wisdom have inspired the brilliant minds of our young scientists.
Seven students were nominated for Best Research Presenters: Zhelize, Vernice, Luke, Chase, Lei, Brielle, and Royce. Third place went to Chase Edison Tugaoen, while the second place went to Frances Brielle Felicidario. The Best Research Presenter was awarded to Lucas Gabriel Soriano. The Third Best Group Research Project was awarded to Hydrozap while the second place went to both Electromagneticia and Nutergy. This year’s Best Group Research Project was awarded to the Eleccitrusy group. Indeed APDM’s Investigative Research and Science Fair was a tremendous success and with everyone learning something new, everyone’s a winner!
