Every year, the APDM community organizes an excursion that seeks to provide students with an experience that is equally enriching and exciting. This school year, on September 19, 2018, APDM marks yet another milestone as its students embarked on their first educational field trip beyond the boundaries of Metro Manila. First on the trip itinerary was the Gardenia factory. The students had a chance to not only see the interesting process of how bread is produced and packaged, but they were also able to learn a bit more about the history and inner workings of the country’s leading bread brand. The next destination of the tour was the Galinco factory, where students were able to discover more about one of their favorite snacks – cookies – specifically, Chips Delight. Afterwards, the group proceeded to the most anticipated destination of the day, Enchanted Kingdom! Both parents and students alike enjoyed the picturesque theme park, with its colorful lights and thrilling attractions. Most students and their families spent their time at the park trying out the wide variety of game booths and family-friendly rides that the park offered, while the more courageous few opted for the more extreme rides. As the trip came to a close, students and their families rounded up back at the bus, tired from the long day, but with an undeniable smile still on their faces.
