During a disaster, life-protecting actions must be taken immediately. Having the knowledge of the important things to remember during such alarming and life-threatening situation is an advantage that one person can execute that can both save not only his/herself but also a lot of people. To increase awareness on how best to survive both earthquakes and fires, the APDM organized an earthquake and fire drill on August 1, 2018.
Students in all grade levels, faculty and staff were taught how to respond to the complications of an actual earthquake or fire. These drills helped in evaluating how well all parts of the emergency plan work together and how well the students, faculty and staff have been trained. With the right precautions and reminders to everyone in the APDM building, the following drills were a success.
