As part of their culminating activity, Scout Miguel Andrei Alasagas from Grade 4 – Resilience and Scout Josh Elider Lamis from Grade 5 – Commitment were selected as the APDM Scouting Senior Patrol Leaders (SPL). The two boys will continue their responsibilities as SPL for the next school year
APDM Scouting Troop
The scouting movement in APDM continues to grow this school year. A lot of activities was planned throughout the school year. Forty-four students responded to the call of the scouting movement consisting of 37 boys and 7 girls. They started their sessions with the introduction of the founder of the World Organization of Scouting Movement. They also had the chance to wear their own neckerchiefs. The scouts also experienced cooking an egg using a stove made up of tin cans. They learned how to tie the basics knots, and even read the compass. Aside from all of these activities, the scouts also had the chance to test their scouting spirit by participating in different games that would require teamwork.
